About The Song
Mosh - Eminem
Mosh is definitely the most political song Eminem has ever released. Not only is the message very clear, but Eminem does not hold back on anything; especially when it comes to expressing how he feels about President Bush. For example, Eminem says:
"Maybe this is god just sayin' we're responsible, For this monster, this coward, That we have empowered,"
Which is obviously referring to President Bush. Later on in the song, he says:
"Strap him with an Ak-47, let him go, fight his own war, Let him impress daddy that way."
Eminem continues to reinforce his hatred for Bush with a loud and proud
"Fuck Bush, Until they bring our troops home, c'mon."
Amongst the many weighty verses, one of the most hard hitting ones that truly reflect our reality is:
"No more blood for oil,
we got our own battles to fight on our own soil,
No more psychological warfare,
to trick us to thinking that we ain't loyal,
If we don't serve our own country, we're patronizing a hero."
Just like Eminem says, this is truly the reality of our situation. We sacrifice lives for natural resources, we send off troops to other countries when we can't even fix our own problems inside our own country, and the government-mainstream media tag team continuously polarize this country by labeling people "unpatriotic" for not supporting the war. It is clear that Eminem understands the severity of reality a lot more than the majority of the population. That is why he says:
"If I get sniped tonight you know why, Cause I told you to fight."
